Hello! I’m Jennifer. I’m a public relations student, a foodie, a dog lover, a coffee enthusiast and a wanna be Austinite.

I love to cook. I love to explore new foods. I don’t believe in eating meat.

Luckily for my palate, I grew up in a small town in central Mexico named San Miguel de Allende. I moved there when I was just six years old, and I still call it home. I credit this ancient town’s cobblestone streets and taquerias with cultivating both my sense of self and my sense of taste. To this day, my favorite thing about home is the delicious food found on any and every street corner.

Luckily for me, I was raised by a wonderful nanny who taught me how to cook traditional casera food.

And luckily for you, I’ve reworked these classic recipes to contain all the flavor without any of the animal casualties.

I hope you’re hungry!
